IUST Department of Economics Recruitment 2024: The Department of Economics, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Kashmir will conduct a walk-in interview for the engagement of a Research Assistant for ICSSR funded study titled “Community-based homestay tourism in Kashmir: Exploring its potential, vulnerabilities, and challenges” under the Vision Viksit Bharat 2047.
The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to appear in the walk-in interview. The interested candidates must report to the Office of the Department of Economics, IUST on 25th October 2024 at 9:00 AM along with original documents, xerox copies of documents, and a passport-size photograph.

Eligibility of IUST Department of Economics Recruitment 2024
The educational qualifications and Age limit required for the posts of Research Assistant are given below;
- Qualification: Ph.D./M.Phil/Post-graduation in a subject relevant to the research area of the project or any social science discipline with a minimum of 55 % marks.
Salary Details of Research Assistant Post
The selected candidate will draw consolidated emoluments of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA.
