Master’s Degree in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology/ Geography with at least 55% marks. Candidates with other postgraduate degrees must have completed minimum one year regular course in Demography/ Population Studies. Ph.D. Degree in relevant subjects is required.
Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor along with minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals and Academic/Research score of 75 as per UGC Guidelines 2018.
