The University of Jammu has released an advertisement inviting applications for the positions of Research Assistant (01 post) and Field Investigators (04 posts) under an ICSSR-funded Major Research Project. The project titled “Constitutional Reforms and Marginalized Groups: A Socio-legal Analysis in Reorganized Jammu and Kashmir” is of two years’ duration.
As per the notice, these roles are purely temporary/part-time and will be engaged for a fixed term. The monthly remuneration is ₹37,000 for the Research Assistant (for one year) and ₹20,000 for Field Investigators (for six months). Applications must be submitted within 07 days from the date of notification along with a biodata and supporting documents.

1) Educational Qualifications
For Research Assistant: Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks. Must have qualified NET/SET/SLET/M.Phil/Ph.D
For Field Investigator: Postgraduate in Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks
2) Salary
Research Assistant: ₹37,000 per month
Field Investigator: ₹20,000 per month
