The recruitment is purely temporary and contractual, co-terminus with the project titled “Breaking Prolonged Saffron (Crocus sativus) Dormancy Through Mediation of Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) & CRISPR-Cas-Based Genome Editing for Transgene-Free Biannual Cultivation.”

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics or equivalent
- Minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination
- Must have qualified NET or GATE examination
Desirable Qualification:
Candidates having experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- qRT-PCR
- Cloning techniques
- Genome Editing (CRISPR-Cas)
- Cell and Tissue Culture
- In-vitro propagation
- Transcriptomics
- Western blotting
- Bioinformatics analysis
- NGS data handling
Salary Details
Monthly Emoluments:
- Salary will be paid as per funding agency norms.
