Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Shalimar Campus Srinagar has officially issued a notification inviting eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for the appointment of Contractual/Guest Lecturers on a need-based academic arrangement for the academic session 2025–26. The vacancies span multiple disciplines across the Veterinary Sciences and Plant Biotechnology departments.
Walk-in interviews will be conducted at the Directorate of Education, SKUAST-K Main Campus Shalimar, as per the schedule mentioned below. All other terms, eligibility, and conditions remain the same as earlier published in the original notification dated 13 May 2025.
Interested candidates should appear in person with all relevant documents for the scheduled interviews.
Important Dates:
The walk-in interview process for SKUAST-K Guest Lecturer posts is scheduled for 20 and 21 May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned/relevant subject. A Ph.D. with coursework in the relevant field is required as per UGC/ICAR guidelines. NET/SLET/SET is also a requirement unless exempted as per UGC norms. Those with foreign Ph.D.s must have graduated from a university ranked in the global top 500.
Age Limit:
As per the norms of SKUAST-K and subject to verification at the time of interview.
Other Requirements:
Candidates must be physically present at the interview venue with original certificates and self-attested copies. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates must appear in person for the walk-in interview at the Directorate of Education, SKUAST-K, Main Campus, Shalimar. They must carry a duly signed application in the prescribed format along with original documents, self-attested photocopies, two passport-size photographs, and a bank draft of Rs. 500/- pledged to Comptroller, SKUAST-K payable at J&K Bank, Shalimar.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on performance during the walk-in interview and verification of qualifications and documents. Final selection will be as per university norms.
