The Private Schools’ Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) has announced the closure of all private educational institutions across the Union Territory on 23rd April 2025, in response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Anantnag. The tragic incident resulted in the loss of innocent lives, sparking grief and condemnation throughout the region.
In an official statement, PSAJK President G. N. Var expressed deep anguish and described the school closure as a symbolic day of mourning and peaceful protest. The association stands in solidarity with the bereaved families and calls upon the broader educational community to unite in remembrance and collective resolve.
