MYAS Internship 2025: Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Internship Programme for Students and Researchers

The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), Government of India, has introduced a comprehensive internship programme to provide structured learning opportunities for students, researchers and young professionals. The internship programme is designed to offer practical exposure in sports administration, governance, infrastructure development, sports science and related fields.

Interested candidates are required to apply for Internship in SAI Head Office and its Regional Centers at https://sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in/saijobs/. Last date for application is upto 30.04.2026 till 5:00 PM.

This internship initiative is aligned with the National Sports Policy and Khelo Bharat Niti 2025. The internship duration is six months and candidates will be selected through a structured process. Eligible candidates must meet educational and age requirements and submit required documents before applying.

Additional Requirements

  • Statement of Purpose is mandatory.

Selection Process of MYAS Internship Programme


The selection process will follow structured steps:

  1. Applications will be checked for eligibility and document verification.
  2. Merit ranking will be prepared based on academic performance.
  3. Statement of Purpose and required documents will be evaluated.
  4. Final selection will be notified through official communication.

Selection committees include senior officials, domain experts and project heads.

Attendance, Reporting and Evaluation Rules


  • Minimum attendance required is 75 percent.
  • Leave beyond five consecutive days requires approval.
  • Weekly progress reports must be submitted online.
  • Final presentation or report submission is mandatory.
  • Unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination.

Certification After Completion


Candidates who successfully complete the internship will receive a certificate. The certificate will include:

Certificates will be digitally verifiable and integrated with DigiLocker.
