Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL), a Miniratna-I CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 108 non-executive positions. These vacancies span various trades and disciplines, aiming to attract skilled professionals for the company’s Corporate Office in Nagpur and project sites across India.
As per Advertisement No. 03/Rectt./2025, the maximum age limit for most posts is 30 years, with applicable relaxations. Selected candidates will be placed under Grade W-3, W-4, or W-7 depending on the post, and offered a monthly salary ranging between ₹19,600 and ₹55,900. The selection will be made through a written test, document verification, and skill/trade test.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: The educational qualification varies post-wise, ranging from Matriculation with ITI Certificate for technical roles (e.g., Electrician, Machinist, Mechanic) to Graduate/Post Graduate degrees for accounts and administrative posts (e.g., Accountant, Assistant Hindi, Hindi Translator).
Age Limit: The maximum age for all posts is 30 years as on 20 May 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-Servicemen.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience is required for all posts. For example, Accountants must have experience after passing Intermediate CA/ICWA; technicians must have trade experience; drivers must have experience in driving heavy/light vehicles.

Application Fee:
The application fee for the recruitment process is structured according to categories: ₹500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates are exempted from the fee. Payment must be made online.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a written examination followed by document verification and a qualifying skill/trade test. The written test will be conducted at Nagpur. Cut-off marks are 50% for UR/OBC/EWS and 45% for SC/ST categories.
