The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released Advertisement Notification No. 05 of 2025 for the appointment of Naib Tehsildar posts in the Revenue Department. As per the notification, a total of 75 vacancies have been announced under direct recruitment.
Applicants must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate as on or before July 15, 2025. The recruitment process will follow the standard rules and regulations of the UT government, including reservation, qualification, and service conditions.

Candidates must ensure their eligibility and submit the required documents. Selection will be done through a written examination followed by a qualifying Urdu language test.

Vacancy Details:
JKSSB has invited applications to fill 75 Naib Tehsildar vacancies in the Revenue Department. These include 30 posts for OM category, 6 for SC, 8 each for ST-1 and ST-2, 6 for OBC, 3 for ALC/IB, 7 for RBA, and 7 for EWS category.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have a graduation degree and working knowledge of Urdu. The maximum age is 40 years for OM, 43 years for reserved categories, and 48 years for ex-servicemen as on January 1, 2025. Additional conditions related to qualification equivalence and certificate verification apply.

Application Fee:
Candidates from general category must pay ₹600. For SC, ST, EWS, PwBD and other reserved categories, the fee is ₹500. Payments can be made online via net banking or cards.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on an objective written test (Paper-I). Shortlisted candidates will be required to take an Urdu language test (Paper-II), which is qualifying in nature. Final merit will be based on performance in Paper-I.
