The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir has invited online applications from eligible candidates for Tutor Post on a contractual basis at the Syed Mantaqi Memorial College of Nursing & Medical Technology. The engagement is for the academic arrangement of the year 2025.
As per the advertisement dated 22 July 2025, candidates with B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and one year of experience are eligible. Preference will be given to candidates with M.Sc. Nursing. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly emolument of Rs. 35,000. The tenure is up to 31 December 2025 or until the post is filled substantively, whichever is earlier.
Interested applicants must submit their online application through the university portal www.iust.ac.in and pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300. After completing the online form, candidates are required to submit a hard copy of the application along with self-attested documents at the Principal’s office by the notified deadline.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Tutor post, the candidate must possess a B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree along with one year of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with an M.Sc. Nursing degree.
Applicants must be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir and fulfill all eligibility conditions by the last date of application submission. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The University will notify the interview date separately. In case of a high number of applications, only 20 candidates per post and 5 for each additional post will be shortlisted.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria should apply online through the official portal www.iust.ac.in. After completing the online form, they must submit the hard copy of their application along with all required documents at the Principal’s office of the Nursing College by 31 July 2025.
Application Fee:

Selection Process:
The selection will be based on performance in the interview. In case of high applications, shortlisting will be done as per University norms. The final panel will remain valid for one year to fill future vacancies that may arise due to resignation or other reasons.
