Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for Law Officer posts must meet the educational qualification and experience requirements mentioned below.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess:
- Full-time three-year Bachelorโs Degree in Law (LLB) OR
- Five-year Integrated LLB Degree
- Minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Degree must be from a Bar Council of India recognized institute, college, or university
Additionally:
- Candidates must be registered as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India or State Bar Council under the Advocates Act, 1961.
Professional Experience
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 3 years of practice as an Advocate before any Court of Law in India
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as a legal professional with:
- PSU
- Government Department
- Large Private Organization
Candidates should also have:
- Experience in Civil Matters before Courts
- Knowledge of Arbitration, Labour Laws, and Company Law
- Experience in drafting petitions, affidavits, appeals, contracts, and legal agreements
Preferred Experience
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Experience in Supreme Court or High Court matters
- Experience related to Mines and Minerals Industry
- Experience working with Mining PSUs or Government Departments
Additional Skills Required
Candidates should possess:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary Details

The remuneration includes all components and is subject to mandatory deductions as per applicable laws. No Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, medical reimbursement, or similar benefits will be provided.
Contract Duration
The engagement will be:
- Initially for 3 years
- Extendable for a maximum of 1 additional year
- Extension depends on performance evaluation and departmental requirement
Candidates leaving before completing six months will not receive an experience certificate.
Selection Procedure
The selection process will involve the following stages:
- Shortlisting of applications based on qualification and experience
- Interview conducted by the competent authority
- Final selection based on performance in interview
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
