Indian Army has released the Agniveer Recruitment 2026 notification inviting online applications from unmarried male and female candidates across India. The recruitment aims to fill more than 25,000 vacancies for various Agniveer posts under the Agnipath Scheme.

Post-wise Eligibility Criteria

| Agniveer Technical | 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject OR 10th pass with 2-year ITI course |
| Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical | 10+2 in any stream with 60% aggregate and 50% marks in each subject (English and Maths/Accounts mandatory) |
| Agniveer Tradesman | Class 8th or 10th simple pass with minimum 33% marks in each subject |
Age Limit
Candidates must be born between:
01 October 2005 to 01 April 2009 (both dates inclusive)
Minimum Age: 17.5 Years
Maximum Age: 21 Years
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two main phases:
Phase-I: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
- Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Conducted in Computer Based Mode
- Typing Test required for Clerk / Store Keeper Technical posts
- Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute (English) desirable
Phase-II: Recruitment Rally
Shortlisted candidates will undergo the following tests:
1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 Km Run
- Pull-Ups (Beam)
- 9-Foot Ditch Jump
- Zig-Zag Balance
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Height
- Weight
- Chest Measurement
3. Medical Examination
Conducted by Army Medical Team.

Prepared based on:
- CEE Marks
- Bonus Marks (NCC, Sports, ITI/Diploma etc.)
