Eligibility Criteria of Cluster University Assistant Professor Posts

| Educational Qualification | Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognised University. 5% relaxation for applicable reserved categories. |
| NET/SET/SLET | Must have cleared NET/SET/SLET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar recognised test. Candidates with PhD as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempted subject to conditions mentioned in the notification. |
| Other Conditions | Equivalence certificate required for foreign degrees. Candidates registered for PhD prior to 11 July 2009 are covered under earlier UGC rules subject to specified conditions. |
