Central University Jammu Recruitment 2025 – Apply for Non-Teaching Posts, Last Date Extended to 17 March

Central University of Jammu has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for various non-teaching posts. The last date for submission of online application forms for various Non-teaching positions advertised vide Employment Notification No. 33 dated 28.01.2025 has been extended till 17-03-2025. There are vacancies for Private Secretary, Personal Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, Lower Division Clerk, Hindi Typist, and Library Attendant. The posts are open for direct recruitment through online mode as per the University’s Cadre Recruitment Rules.

As mentioned in the official notification, the eligible candidates must satisfy the prescribed qualifications, experience, and age conditions. The posts carry specific age limits ranging from 35 to 40 years. Selected candidates will be appointed on a regular basis subject to document verification and meeting the eligibility criteria. Pay Scale / Salary

The posts carry salaries as per the University’s pay matrix. • Private Secretary: Minimum 3 years experience as Personal Assistant or 5 years as Stenographer, with required stenography and typing speeds.

• Hindi Typist: Ability to type in Hindi at the prescribed speed.

Selection Process

The selection process for the non-teaching posts will be based on a 2-tier examination comprising:

1. Written Test – The test will cover General Awareness, English/Hindi Typing, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and Domain Knowledge. There is negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
2. Skills and/or Applied Test – Conducted for qualifying purposes in Computer Typing, Dictation, and Noting & Drafting.
   Experience marks may also be awarded as specified in the notification.
   Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in each test and in aggregate to be considered for the final merit list.
