IUST Recruitment 2025 Notification, Vacancy in Department of Chemistry

The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has released notification for a walk-in interview for the recruitment of a Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry. The position is available under the DST-SERB sanctioned project titled “Gastric Resistant Hydrogels Based on Modified Natural Polymers as Potent Drug Delivery Agents.”

The duration of the project is initially 1 year, extendable based on performance. The selected candidate will get a monthly consolidated salary of ₹30,000 plus HRA. The interview is scheduled for February 21, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Office of the Head, Department of Chemistry, IUST.

Eligibility Criteria of IUST Research Associate Vacancy

The required qualification and age limit for IUST Research Associate Post is given as follows:

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have the following qualifications to be eligible for the Research Associate position:

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Experience in synthesis and characterization of hydrogels, modification of natural polymers, and drug delivery using smart hydrogel systems.
• Hands-on experience with instruments like Rheometer, FTIR, Freeze Dryer, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, etc.

Age Limit

The Minimum Age limit is 21 years and the Maximum Age limit is As per IUST norms. Age Relaxation will be As per government norms.
