Selection Process of CSIR-NIIST MTS Recruitment 2026
The selection process for Multi-Tasking Staff posts will include the following stages:
- Trade Test
- Written Examination
Candidates qualifying the Trade Test will be eligible for the written examination. Final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written exam.

The written examination will be OMR based objective type. The exam duration will be 2 hours. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will get Pay Level 01 salary scale of Rs. 18,000 – 56,900/-.
The approximate monthly emoluments will be Rs. 33,840/- including allowances. Other benefits include NPS, medical reimbursement, LTC and other admissible benefits as per rules.
