1. Young Professional-II (01 Post)
Project Title: Artificial Intelligence Enabled Blackberry & Alpine Stress Detection and Advisory Mobile Application for Crops
Place of Posting: ICAR-CITH, Srinagar
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture with Specialization in Fruit Science, Plant Pathology or Agricultural Entomology
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in disease diagnosis
- Knowledge of pest and deficiency symptoms
- Experience in temperate fruit crops
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
Salary: ₹42,000 per month (Consolidated)
2. Young Professional-I (01 Post)
Project Title: Eco-based Disease, Pest Surveillance and Intelligent Management in Apple Orchards

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture Sciences

Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit calculated using the following criteria:
For Young Professional-II:
- 50 Marks – Post Graduation
- 05 Marks – PhD
- 10 Marks – Research Publications
- 10 Marks – Experience
- 05 Marks – Awards
- 20 Marks – Personal Interview
For Young Professional-I:
- 60 Marks – Essential Qualification
- 10 Marks – Post Graduation
- 10 Marks – Experience (02 Marks per completed year)
- 20 Marks – Personal Interview
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
