General Conditions for Admission
Minimum marks required in 10+2 examination are as follows:
- Minimum 50 percent marks for Open Merit candidates and 40 percent marks for reserved category candidates for domiciles of UT of J&K.
- Minimum aggregate marks of 40 percent for NRI-sponsored and Other States category candidates seeking admission in BVSc & AH, B.FSc (Agriculture), B.Tech Agriculture Degree programmes.
- Minimum aggregate marks of 40 percent in 10+2 examination for candidates seeking admission under NRI-sponsored and Other States category in other programmes except specified ones.
- Minimum age of 17 years and maximum age of 28 years as on 31 December 2026.
- Candidates who have appeared or are likely to appear in 10+2 examination can also apply.
