Eligibility Criteria of SKUAST Kashmir Associate Professor Vacancies
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Ph.D Degree in the concerned discipline.
- Master Degree with at least 55 percent marks in the concerned discipline or equivalent grade.
- Minimum eight years of teaching or research or extension experience in academic or research position equivalent to Assistant Professor or Junior Scientist.
- Minimum seven publications in NAAS rated or Peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals.
- Total research score of seventy five as per prescribed criteria.

Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates already in employment of SKUAST Kashmir.
Selection Process
Selection shall be based on:
- Academic, Research and Extension Score (80 percent weightage)
- Interview (20 percent weightage)
