Experience Requirements
Assistant Keeper:
- Desirable one year experience of handling, maintaining and preserving museum specimens.
Senior Store Officer Grade-II:
- Two years experience for candidates with Masterโs Degree in store keeping and maintaining stores accounts.
- Four years experience for candidates with Bachelorโs Degree or Diploma in store keeping and maintaining stores accounts.
Livestock Officer:
- Three years experience in cattle and livestock development, animal health, poultry or meat related work from Government or recognized institutions.
Desirable for Livestock Officer:
- Masterโs Degree in Veterinary Science
OR - Two years additional experience in related field.
Pay Scale Details
Assistant Keeper: Level-07 in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Senior Store Officer Grade-II: Level-10 in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Livestock Officer: Level-10 plus NPA in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Duties of Posts
Assistant Keeper:
- To organize and develop the Regional Anthropological Museum.
- To undertake field collection and studies in tribal and other areas.
Senior Store Officer Grade-II:
- To assist Senior Stores Officer-I in management activities.
- Floating tender enquiries and preparation of comparative statements.
- Evaluation and registration of vendors.
- Disposal of obsolete and unserviceable stores.
Livestock Officer:
- To assist livestock health related schemes on all India basis.
- To assist policy and planning work related to livestock health.
- To handle Parliament related questions and assurances.
- To coordinate with international organisations on livestock health matters.
