Eligibility Criteria for NIC Scientist Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:
- B.E. / B.Tech
- DOEACC B-Level
- AMIE
- M.Sc.
- MCA
- M.E. / M.Tech
- M.Phil
Relevant fields include:
Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, GIS, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering and other related disciplines.
Experience Requirement:
- Scientist-C: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Scientist-D: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Experience must be in research, development, academic institutions, or scientific organisations.

Salary Details
