Indian Oil Corporation Limited has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices. The recruitment is being conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the Marketing Division of the Western Region.
The apprenticeship training will be provided at different locations in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and the Union Territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Candidates who meet the required qualification and age criteria can apply through the NAPS or NATS portal.

Age relaxation is applicable as per rules. SC and ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation and PwBD candidates get relaxation up to 10 years.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be based on the following stages.
- Candidates must register on the NAPS or NATS portal and apply for the apprenticeship opportunity.
- A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Candidates must also complete a pre-engagement medical fitness test before final selection.
There will be no written examination or interview for this recruitment.
Period of Apprenticeship Training
The apprenticeship training period for all selected candidates will be 12 months.
