Eligibility Criteria of DRDO VRDE JRF Vacancies

Only GATE scores of the years 2023, 2024 and 2025 are acceptable. Age relaxation of five years is applicable for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC candidates.
Stipend and Tenure
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000 along with House Rent Allowance as applicable. The initial tenure is two years and may be extended for a further two years based on performance and review committee assessment.

The place of research fellowship will be VRDE, Vahannagar Post, Ahilyanagar – 414006, Maharashtra.

Eligible candidates willing to attend the walk-in interview must send their willingness by email to kapilpuraswani.vrde@gov.in on or before 22 February 2026. The subject of the email must mention Application for the post of Junior Research Fellowship followed by the subject.
