University of Kashmir Admission Notification 2026 for Skill Development Training Programmes

The Directorate of Lifelong Learning and Skill Development, University of Kashmir has issued an admission notification inviting applications for short-term skill development training programmes under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA 2.0).

The notification is for candidates who are already trained in the relevant trades and wish to upgrade their skills. A total of three training programmes are available with limited intake. Interested candidates must apply on the prescribed format before the last date mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria


Candidates must already be trained in the relevant trade. The minimum eligibility required for each programme is mentioned in the table above. Applications from untrained candidates will not be considered.

Application Fee and Other Conditions


Each candidate shall be provided monthly convenience charges of Rs. 800 per month, subject to successful completion of the programme. No fee shall be charged for the training programme.

Admission shall be made on a first-come-first-serve basis, subject to completion of all admission formalities.

How to Apply


The application forms can be obtained from the office of the Directorate of Lifelong Learning & Skill Development, University of Kashmir main campus, behind Humanities Block, during office hours.

The completed application form along with requisite certificates must reach the office of the Directorate on or before 02 February 2026.
