Eligibility Criteria of SKUAST Jammu Assistant Professor Vacancy
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have M.Tech. in Processing and Food Engineering. B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering is essential.
Desirable Qualification
Doctoral degree, NET qualification, and teaching experience are desirable.
Age Limit
Candidates should not be below 20 years and not more than 55 years as on 01.02.2026.
Salary Details
Candidates selected for the post will receive consolidated salary as given below.

Terms and Conditions
The engagement will be purely on contractual basis.
The appointment is for one semester or till regular posts are filled, whichever is earlier.
Extension for one more semester may be granted based on performance and availability of funds.
No right for regularization shall be entertained.
One month notice is required in case of relinquishing the engagement.
TA or DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
The University reserves the right to withdraw the advertised position at any time.
