Eligibility Criteria of Assistant Librarian Vacancies
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks.
- A good academic record with knowledge of computerization of a library.
- NET, SLET, or SET qualification, or a Ph.D degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 and amendments.
Candidates registered for Ph.D prior to 11 July 2009 are exempted from NET subject to fulfillment of conditions mentioned in the notification.
