Upper age limit at enrolment is 21 years for 10+2 candidates and 24 years for Diploma or B.Sc Pharmacy candidates.
Physical and Medical Standards
Minimum height required is 152 cm.
Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm with 5 cm expansion.
Weight must be proportionate to height and age.
Minimum 14 dental points required.
Normal hearing ability is mandatory.
Candidates with LASIK or PRK surgery are not eligible.
Visual standards include 6/36 vision correctable to 6/6 with refractive error not exceeding +3.50D and colour vision CP-II.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
Phase I: Online Test
Phase II: Physical Fitness Test and Adaptability Tests
Phase III: Medical Examination
Exam Pattern
The online test duration is 45 minutes.
Subjects include English, Reasoning and General Awareness.
One mark is awarded for each correct answer.
Negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for wrong answers.
Physical Fitness Test Details
1.6 km run within prescribed time
10 Push-ups in one minute
10 Sit-ups in one minute
20 Squats in one minute
Pay and Allowances
During training, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹14,600 per month.
After completion of training, starting gross salary will be ₹26,900 per month.
Additional allowances will be provided as per government rules.
Training and Service Period
Initial enrolment is for 20 years and may be extended up to 57 years.
Candidates will undergo Joint Basic Phase Training followed by trade training.
Trade once allotted will not be changed.
Application Fee
The examination fee is ₹550 plus 18% GST.
The fee is non-refundable.
