Eligibility Criteria of SSC GD Constable Vacancies
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation or Class 10th from a recognised board or university as on 01 January 2026.
Nationality
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
Minimum age should be 18 years.
Maximum age should be 23 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit:
SC or ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Ex Servicemen: 3 years after deducting military service
Children or dependents of 1984 riot victims: up to 10 years as per category
Application Fee
General, OBC and EWS male candidates need to pay Rs. 100.
SC, ST, Ex Servicemen and all female candidates are exempted from the fee.
Payment should be made online.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will get salary under Pay Level 3. The monthly salary will be from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100. Allowances like DA and HRA will also be given as per rules.
