Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant (Mechanical) for the year 2025. A total of 150 posts are available across four regions. Candidates with a Diploma in the relevant engineering disciplines and two years of post-qualification experience can apply online.

Full-time Diploma in: Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Production & Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Mechanical & Automobile Engineering. Candidates with higher qualifications (Degree/PG) in the same field are also eligible.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant engineering field
Apprenticeship training period in the relevant field is acceptable
Training, internship, research or teaching experience will not count
Age Limit (as on 30-12-2025)
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen/J&K domicile as per Government rules

Salary Structure
Basic Pay: Rs. 16,338/- per month
Gross Monthly CTC: Rs. 29,735/- per month
