Bharat Electronics Limited has issued a notification inviting applications for Engineering Assistant Trainee and Technician C posts at its Kotdwara Unit. These positions are offered on a permanent basis and require candidates with the prescribed technical qualifications.
As mentioned in the notification, the upper age limit for both posts is 28 years as on 1 December 2025, with relaxations as per rules. Selected Engineering Assistant Trainees will undergo six months of training before placement in the regular pay scale. Eligibility Criteria:
For Engineering Assistant Trainee, candidates must have a three year diploma in engineering in Electronics, Mechanical or Electrical from a recognized institution. Technician C applicants must have SSLC with ITI and one year apprenticeship training with National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade or SSLC with three year National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade. Minimum percentage required is 60 percent aggregate for General, EWS and OBC and 50 percent for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. The age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 1 December 2025, with relaxations as stated in the notice. Only the trades specified in the notification are eligible.

Candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS categories must pay an application fee of 590 through SBI Collect. SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
