The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has released the official notification for IB MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff – General) Recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill 362 vacancies across various Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux (SIBs) across India.

Eligible candidates can apply online from 22 November 2025 to 14 December 2025 through the official MHA website or the NCS portal.

IB MTS Salary 2025

Pay Level-1: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900
Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay

IB MTS Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification

Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent
AND
Domicile certificate of the state applied for, valid as of 14 December 2025.

Age Limit

18 to 25 years as of 14.12.2025

Age Relaxation

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10–15 years
Departmental candidates: Up to 40 years
Widows/divorced women: Up to 35–40 years
Ex-servicemen: As per rules
Meritorious sportspersons: Up to 5 years

IB MTS 2025 Exam Pattern

Tier-I (Online Objective Test)
