SKUAST Kashmir invites applications for Young Professional post under NASF ICAR funded project

SKUAST Kashmir has issued an advertisement inviting applications for one post of Young Professional I. The position is announced under the NASF ICAR funded project focused on pan genome analysis in common bean genotypes from the northwestern Himalayan region. The post will be filled on a temporary project based arrangement.

According to the notice, the Young Professional I position will be based in the Division of Plant Pathology at the main campus Shalimar. The selected candidate will work on research activities related to disease resistance and agronomic performance. The project is co terminus with the position and will end upon completion of the research work.

This notice announces one vacancy for the post of Young Professional I in the Division of Plant Pathology. The monthly emoluments for the position are fixed at 31000.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate applying for the Young Professional I post must have an M.Sc degree in Agriculture or Horticulture in the discipline of Plant Pathology, Plant Biotechnology or Allied Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in molecular biology, pan genomics and plant disease resistance.
