Syed Mantaqui Memorial College of Nursing and Medical Technology at the Islamic University of Science and Technology has issued a re-advertisement inviting applications for project technical support positions. These posts are for a research study comparing respiratory health among workers, local residents and the general population of the Kashmir valley. The engagement is temporary and linked to the duration of the ICMR-sanctioned project.
As per the official notice, the upper age limit for applying is 35 years with relaxation for OBC and SC categories. Selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 28000 plus 10 percent HRA subject to release of funds. The project work will continue for six months and will include field visits, data collection, data analysis and report writing.

The last date for both online submission and hard copy submission is 05 December 2025. Eligibility Criteria:

The essential qualification is graduation in nursing, public health, lab technology, pharmacy, epidemiology or biostatistics with three years of experience in the relevant field. Postgraduate candidates in the above subjects can apply with one year of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in data analysis using R, SPSS or Stata, publications in indexed journals and skills in systematic reviews and meta-analysis. The age limit is not exceeding 35 years with relaxation for OBC and SC candidates.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on shortlisting as per the criteria set for the project followed by an interview. Candidates must bring original documents during the interview. No TA or DA will be provided for attending the interview.
