SAIL Management Trainee Technical 2025 Notification for 124 Posts, Apply Online till Dec 05

Steel Authority of India Limited has issued the official notice for Management Trainee Technical posts under advertisement number HR/REC/C-97/MTT/2025. The organisation has invited applications from eligible engineering graduates for 124 positions across various disciplines.

As per the details shared in the notification, candidates must meet the required educational qualifications and the upper age limit of 28 years as on 05 December 2025. Selection will take place through a computer based test, group discussion and an interview. The posts fall under E-1 grade.

Eligibility Criteria:
Below, we have summarized the required eligibility criteria, such as qualification and age limit. Candidates must hold the required degree in the relevant engineering discipline. Chemical requires a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Civil requires a degree in Civil Engineering. Computer requires CSE, IT, CS and IT or MCA. Electrical requires a degree in Electrical or related fields. Instrumentation requires a degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or Mechatronics. Mechanical requires a degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial or Automation Engineering. Metallurgy requires a degree in Metallurgical or Materials Engineering. General, OBC and EWS candidates need 65 percent marks and SC, ST, PwBD and departmental candidates need 55 percent marks. The upper age limit is 28 years with relaxations as applicable.

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria should apply through the official portal mentioned in the notification. The form must be filled online along with required documents and fee payment.

Application Fee:
The application fee for the process is based on category. General, OBC and EWS candidates have to pay 1050 and SC, ST, PwBD, ESM and departmental candidates have to pay 300. Payment has to be made online.

Selection Process:
The selection will be done through a computer based test followed by group discussion and an interview. Candidates must qualify both parts of the CBT. Shortlisted applicants will be called for GD and interview based on a 1:3 ratio. Final selection will use weighted scores from CBT, GD and interview.
