ICAR Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture Srinagar has announced a walk in interview for one Senior Research Fellow position. The post is for a research project relating to infectious clone development and diagnostics for apple mosaic disease in the Northwestern Himalayan region. The position is offered on a contractual basis.
As per the notice, applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in Biotechnology, Agriculture or Horticulture with specialization in plant pathology or agricultural biotechnology. Candidates with postgraduate degree in basic sciences must have a three year bachelor’s degree, two year master’s degree, NET qualification and two years of research experience. The age limit for this post is between twenty one and forty five years with relaxation as per rules. The selected candidate will receive thirty seven thousand rupees plus eighteen percent HRA for the first two years and forty two thousand rupees plus eighteen percent HRA in the third year. Selection will be based on academic score and interview performance.
Interested and eligible candidates should appear for the walk in interview on 25 November 2025 at ICAR CITH, Srinagar. Applicants must bring their bio data, original documents and self attested photocopies of certificates, along with passport size photographs. The engagement will be purely temporary and co terminus with the project. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be given for attending the interview.
