Delhi Police and the Staff Selection Commission, the Commission will conduct an Open Competitive Examination for the recruitment of Constable (Executive) Male and Female in the Delhi Police. Candidates from all parts of the country will be eligible to apply. A total of 7565 vacancies are available under this notification for young candidates who wish to join the Delhi Police force.
As per the official notification, the age limit for candidates is between 18 to 25 years with relaxations as per rules. The pay scale for selected constables will be at Level 3 in the pay matrix ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. The selection will be made through a computer-based written test, physical test, document verification and medical examination.
Interested applicants who meet the eligibility conditions can apply online through the official SSC website from 22 September 2025 to 21 October 2025. The application fee is Rs 100 for general and OBC category, while SC, ST, women and ex-servicemen are exempted. Eligibility Criteria:
Below are the eligibility conditions for Delhi Police Constable. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. For male candidates, a valid LMV driving licence for motorcycle or car is mandatory at the time of physical endurance and measurement test. The age limit is between 18 to 25 years as on 1 July 2025. The date of birth must fall between 2 July 2000 and 1 July 2007. Age relaxation will apply as per government rules.
How to Apply:
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility conditions can apply online through the SSC website ssc.gov.in. One time registration is required before filling the form. Applications will also be accepted through the my SSC mobile app.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs 100 for general, OBC and EWS category candidates. Women, SC, ST and ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment. Payment must be made online through BHIM UPI, net banking or debit or credit card.
Selection Process:
The selection process for Delhi Police Constable 2025 includes computer based examination, physical endurance and measurement test, document verification and medical examination. The written exam will be conducted by SSC while physical and medical tests will be organised by Delhi Police. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the computer based examination subject to qualifying physical and medical tests.
