Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has released the official notification Advt. No. 17/2025 inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Technical Officer-C. The recruitment drive aims to fill 160 vacancies on a contract basis at Hyderabad.
The application process for these positions has begun on 16 September 2025 and will continue till 22 September 2025. The initial contract is for 9 months which may be extended up to 4 years based on performance and project requirements.
Candidates selected for the Technical Officer-C post will receive a consolidated monthly salary starting from Rs. 25,000 in the first year and up to Rs. 31,000 in the third and fourth years along with other admissible benefits. Selection will be based on merit in academic performance, work experience, and interview.

The registration process for ECIL Technical Officer notification started on 16 September 2025. The last date to submit applications is 22 September 2025. Document verification and personal interview will be conducted later at Hyderabad.
Vacancy Details:
This drive will fill 160 posts of Technical Officer-C. Vacancies are distributed as UR-65, EWS-16, OBC-43, SC-24, and ST-12.

Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility criteria state that candidates must have BE/B.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in branches like ECE, ETC, E&I, Electronics, EEE, Electrical, CSE, IT or Mechanical. One year of post-qualification experience, including apprenticeship, in production, operations, repair, maintenance, or marketing of electronics, electrical, or control equipment is required. Candidates must also have basic knowledge of MS Office. The upper age limit is 30 years as on 31 August 2025. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per rules. For SC/ST, the required aggregate marks are relaxed to 50%.

Selection Process:
The selection process will be carried out in two stages. First, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:4 category-wise based on engineering aggregate marks. In case of a tie, class X marks and then date of birth will be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and personal interview. The final merit list will be prepared considering qualification (20%), work experience (30 marks maximum), and interview (50 marks).
