IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Notification, 523 Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices

Indian Oil Corporation Northern Region opens apprentice engagement in multiple states for Technician, Trade and Graduate categories under Apprentices Act 1961.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited has released the official advertisement IOCL/MKTG/NR/APPR/2025-26/1 for engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at its Marketing Division in Northern Region. The apprentices will be engaged across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. This initiative is part of the corporation’s skill building programme for the nation.

The apprenticeship training will be for a period of twelve months. The selection will be based on merit prepared from the marks secured in the prescribed qualification. There will be no written test or interview. Candidates must apply through the NAPS/NATS portal and complete submission of details via Microsoft Form before the last date.

The minimum age required is 18 years and maximum is 24 years as on 30th September 2025. Age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per rules. Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as BE, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA or equivalent are not eligible to apply. The stipend will be paid as per Apprentices Act guidelines. Graduate and Technician apprentices will receive stipend in two parts, partly from BOAT and partly from IOCL, while trade apprentices will receive the full stipend from IOCL.

The important dates include opening of applications on 12th September 2025 and last date of submission on 11th October 2025 up to 11:55 PM. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email regarding document verification.

Vacancy Details:
This apprenticeship drive covers various disciplines including Technician Apprentice (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics), Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Data Entry Operator), and Graduate Apprentice in multiple states. Each state has notified seat distribution as per reservation rules.

Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria vary as per discipline. Technician apprentices require a three-year regular diploma with minimum 50 percent marks for general and 45 percent for reserved categories. Graduate apprentices require a regular degree with 50 percent marks for general and 45 percent for reserved categories. Trade apprentices require matric with ITI in relevant trades or class 12th for data entry operator posts. All qualifications must be from recognized institutions as full-time regular courses.

How to Apply:
Candidates must apply online through NATS or NAPS portal, as applicable, and also fill the Microsoft Office Form as per instructions. No other mode of application will be accepted. Only one application per candidate is allowed. Candidates must ensure Aadhaar seeded bank account, PAN card and other documents are ready for stipend disbursement.

Selection Process:
The selection will be purely on merit list prepared from marks in the prescribed qualification. In case of tie, older candidates will be preferred, followed by higher marks in matriculation. The shortlisted candidates will have to undergo document verification and medical fitness examination before final engagement.
