The Space Applications Centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation has released a notification for Assistant (Rajbhasha) positions. A total of 7 vacancies are open for ISRO Centres, Units and IIST under the Department of Space. The online application process started on 12 September 2025 and will close on 2 October 2025 at sac.gov.in.
According to the notification, selected candidates will be placed in Level-04 of the pay matrix with a salary between Rs. 25,500 and Rs. 81,100 along with allowances. The selection will be based on a written examination followed by a skill test.
Interested applicants who meet the eligibility requirements must apply online through the official website of SAC before the last date. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered. Details regarding posts, eligibility, age limit and application fee are given below.

Vacancy Details:
A total of 7 positions of Assistant (Rajbhasha) have been announced. Out of these, 6 vacancies are available across URSC, LPSC, IPRC, ISTRAC, SAC and ADRIN. One post is available at IIST, Thiruvananthapuram.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed graduation with at least 60 percent marks or 6.32 CGPA on a 10-point scale. They should have a Hindi typing speed of 25 words per minute on computer and proficiency in computer usage. Knowledge of English typing will be considered desirable. The age limit for the post is 18 to 28 years as on 2 October 2025. Relaxations will apply as per rules, including 3 years for OBC, 5 years for ST, and applicable relaxation for PwBD and Ex-servicemen.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates should apply online through sac.gov.in by filling out the application form, uploading documents and paying the application fee. After submitting the form, applicants are advised to download the confirmation for reference.
Application Fee:
Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from fee payment. Other applicants are required to pay Rs. 500, out of which Rs. 400 will be refunded, making the net fee Rs. 100.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on a written examination followed by a skill test. The written exam will cover Hindi, English, General Knowledge and Computer Knowledge and will be of 2 hours duration. The skill test will include a computer literacy test and Hindi typing test at 25 words per minute using the INSCRIPT keyboard and Unicode font.
