Central University of Jammu has released Advertisement-01 inviting applications for Junior Research Fellow positions under the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences. A total of five temporary posts are available across disciplines including Electronics and Communication, Avionics, Remote Sensing, GIS, and Materials Science. The engagement is initially for one year, extendable based on performance, with a maximum period of three years.
As per the notification, selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA during the first two years, and Rs. 42,000 per month plus HRA in the third year. NET or GATE qualified candidates will be preferred, and Ph.D. holders will have an added advantage. The posts are purely contractual in nature and subject to annual performance review.

Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:
For Electronics and Communication, candidates must hold B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Computer Science or allied fields with NET/GATE. For Remote Sensing and GIS, B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc. in relevant disciplines with NET/GATE is required. For Materials Science, M.Sc./M.Tech in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, EVS, Atmospheric or Climate Science, Meteorology, or Geophysics with NET/GATE is required. Programming experience and research skills in the relevant fields will be preferred. The maximum age limit has not been specified, but Ph.D. qualified candidates will be given preference.
