Government Industrial Training Institute Budgam under the Skill Development Department has released the notification for enrollment of Guest Instructors on a temporary basis. Applications are invited from domicile candidates for delivering lectures including theory and practical classes. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and as per institute requirements.
As per the notification, the last date for submitting the completed application form along with requisite documents is 30th August 2025 up to 2:30 pm. Guest instructors will be engaged for specific trades including Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, and Employability Skills.
The appointment will be made on the basis of required educational qualification, relevant experience, and preference will be given to higher qualifications and experience. The arrangement shall be based on requirement of the institute and subject to verification of original documents.

Vacancy Details:
This notification aims to fill Guest Instructor positions for three trades. For Electrician, there are 4 posts. For Electronic Mechanic, there are 2 posts. For Employability Skills, there is 1 post.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Electrician, candidates must have B.Voc or Degree in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE or UGC recognized institutions with one year experience. Alternatively, a 3-year diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE recognized board with two years experience, or relevant Advanced Diploma from DGT with two years experience, or NTC or NAC in the Electrician trade with three years experience is acceptable.
For Electronic Mechanic, candidates must hold B.Voc or Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Electronics and Communication or related fields with one year experience. A 3-year diploma in Electronics, Telecommunication or related fields with two years experience, or relevant Advanced Diploma from DGT with two years experience, or NTC or NAC in Electronic Mechanic with three years experience is also valid.
For Employability Skills, candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with relevant qualifications and have completed orientation or induction programme in Employability Skills under DGT. Alternatively, MBA or BBA with two years experience, or a degree with two years experience, or diploma with two years experience, or NTC or NAC with three years experience along with basic computer literacy and communication skills is required.
Candidates must note that engagement will be purely temporary and will not confer any right for permanent absorption. The arrangement will depend on the requirement of the institute. Selected candidates will have to submit all original certificates for verification and false information will lead to cancellation of candidature.
