National Institute of Technology Srinagar has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for temporary teaching staff position. The institute has announced one vacancy in the Physics Department for the academic session 2025-26. The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis.
As per Advertisement No. NITS/Temporary Faculty/2025/05(F) dated 21st August 2025, the appointment will be made for a period of 11 months only. The selected candidate will be entitled to a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 65,000. The candidate will be required to join immediately and must be physically present at the station of posting.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have M.Sc and Ph.D in Physics. First class is required at both Bachelor and Master degree levels. The appointment is temporary for a period of 11 months only. The candidate has to enter into an agreement with the institute and is required to join immediately after selection. No accommodation is available at NIT Srinagar and the candidate will have to make arrangements for stay on their own.
