UPSC EPFO 2025 Apply Online for 230 EO/AO and APFC Posts, Last Date Extended

UPSC has announced 230 vacancies for Enforcement Officer, Accounts Officer and APFC under EPFO. Online applications open till 22 August 2025.

Union Public Service Commission has released the official notification for 230 vacancies in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The posts include Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner. Applications are being accepted online only. The last date to apply, which was earlier 18 August 2025, has now been extended to 22 August 2025 up to 23:59 hrs.

As per the notification, the maximum age limit for Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer is 30 years and for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner is 35 years. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. The selection will be based on a Combined Recruitment Test followed by an interview. The pay scale and service conditions will be as per Government of India rules.

Interested applicants are required to apply online through the UPSC portal upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in within the specified dates. Female candidates, SC/ST candidates, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are exempted from payment of fees. Others have to pay Rs 25 by SBI cash, net banking, card, or UPI.

Vacancy Details:
This drive aims to fill a total of 230 posts in EPFO. Post-wise details are given as follows:
Post Name: Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer – 156 posts
Post Name: Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner – 74 posts

Eligibility Criteria:
For Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. For Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, a degree from a recognised university or equivalent is required.
The maximum age limit is 30 years for Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer and 35 years for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner as on the closing date. Age relaxation is applicable under Government rules.

How to Apply:
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility can apply online through the official UPSC portal between 29 July 2025 and 22 August 2025. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Application Fee:
Applicants must pay Rs 25 either by depositing cash at SBI branches or using net banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI. Female candidates, SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are exempted.

Selection Process:
The recruitment process will include a Combined Recruitment Test followed by an interview. The exam will be a pen-and-paper test, and shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. The exact date of the test will be announced later on the UPSC website.
