National Institute of Technology Srinagar has announced applications for a Student Internship position in a Science and Engineering Research Board sponsored project titled “Critical Assessment of the Driver Behaviour of Long Haul Truck Drivers for Traffic Safety Analysis – A Naturalistic Driving Approach”. This is a short-term opportunity for eligible Civil Engineering students to gain research experience in a funded project.
As stated in the official notification, the internship will be for a period of two months. Candidates must be in their final year of B.Tech or pursuing M.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5. Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month. The selection will be based on merit followed by an interview.

This internship is for one post of Student Intern in the Department of Civil Engineering at NIT Srinagar.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must hold either a final year B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 up to the last completed semester, or be pursuing M.Tech in Civil Engineering with the same minimum CGPA. Preference will be given to those with knowledge in Traffic Engineering, numerical modeling techniques, and statistical analysis and interpretation.
