National e-Governance Division (NeGD), operating under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has issued an official notification inviting applications for the posts of Data Analyst and Business Analyst. A total of 6 vacancies are available on a contractual basis for an initial period of two years, which may be extended depending on project requirements.
As per the notification, the maximum age limit for both positions is 55 years as on the closing date of application. Selected candidates will be posted in New Delhi, with possible transfers to other NeGD project locations. Salary will be offered as per market standards. Screening will be based on qualifications, age, and relevant experience, and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Data Analyst, candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence. Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and knowledge of Python or R is required.
For Business Analyst, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields with a minimum of five years’ relevant experience. Skills in business process modelling, documentation, data analysis, and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and Power BI are essential. Preferred certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, and data analytics credentials will be an added advantage.
