ISRO’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) has released an official notification inviting online applications for various posts including Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’, Sub Officer ‘B’, Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’ and Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’. The vacancies are to be filled at LPSC units located in Valiamala (Thiruvananthapuram) and Bengaluru.
As per Advertisement No: LPSC/01/2025, the upper age limit for all posts is 35 years as on 26.08.2025 (age relaxation applicable as per government norms). Selected candidates will receive monthly salaries as per Levels 2 to 7 of the Pay Matrix, depending on the post. The selection process includes a written test and skill test for most positions.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.
For Technical Assistant posts, candidates must have a first-class diploma in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering. For Technician and Draughtsman posts, SSLC/SSC pass with ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trades is required. Sub Officer post requires 10+2 or equivalent with specified fire service qualifications and physical standards. HVD and LVD posts require SSLC/SSC pass with valid driving license and experience.
The upper age limit is 35 years for all posts as on 26.08.2025. Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and as per rules for other categories.
How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the LPSC official portal www.lpsc.gov.in between 12 August and 26 August 2025.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 750/- for Technical Assistant and Sub Officer posts (Post Nos. 792, 793, 794) and Rs. 500/- for all other posts (795 to 799). Fee is fully refundable for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women after appearing in written test. Others will get partial refund of Rs. 500/- or Rs. 400/- respectively.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the following stages:
For Technical Assistant, Technician, and Draughtsman posts: Written test followed by skill test (qualifying). For Sub Officer: Written test, physical efficiency test, and medical fitness. For Drivers: Written test and skill test (qualifying). Final selection will depend on performance in written test and qualifying criteria in skill/physical tests.
