Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir has released an official employment notice for the engagement of Assistant Programmer posts in the Directorate of Information Technology & Support Services. The appointments are purely on a contractual basis for a period of one year.
As per the official notice No. IUST/DIT&SS/25/344 dated 25-07-2025, a total of two vacancies are available. Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The application process is completely online through the University website and includes a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500. The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 32,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have either B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or MCA/M.Sc. IT with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. In addition, candidates with a minimum of two years’ experience in software development within the last five years will be given preference.
