SKUAST Kashmir announces JRF and Project Assistant Posts under CCRUM-Ayush Project

SKUAST-Kashmir has announced two contractual positions under an Ayush-funded project. Applications must reach by 24 July; interview on 25 July 2025.

Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has issued a notification inviting applications for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Assistant under a project funded by CCRUM, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.

The project titled “Exploration of Combinatorial Herbal Therapy of Unani Drugs Irsa, Hasha and Anisun as Multitarget Approach for PCOS and Associated Metabolic Disorders in Pre-Clinical Mode” will be executed by the Division of Veterinary Biochemistry, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Shuhama.

Both positions are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications on plain paper along with relevant documents to the office of the Principal Investigator on or before 24 July 2025. The interview will be held on 25 July 2025 at 11:00 AM.

Eligibility Criteria:

For the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), candidates must have an MVSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, or Biotechnology. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in pre-clinical models.

For the post of Project Assistant, candidates must be graduates with a B.Sc degree. Candidates with relevant field experience will be preferred.

Selection Process:
Selection will be based on an interview scheduled to be held on 25 July 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Division of Veterinary Biochemistry, FVSc & AH, Shuhama, Alusteng. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed via email. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
