University of Kashmir Hiring Junior Research Fellow for SERB Project in Earth Sciences

The University of Kashmir, Department of Earth Sciences, has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB-Core Research Grant funded project titled “The Role of Extreme Weather Events and Patterns in Shaping Vadose Zone Hydrology in Snow-Dominated Catchments.”

The position is temporary and initially offered for one year, with the possibility of extension by another year based on performance. The appointment will be co-terminus with the duration of the project. Applications must be submitted via email by 29 July 2025.

The project is being led by Dr Sarah Qazi, Assistant Professor, Department of Earth Sciences, and focuses on hydrological responses to extreme weather events in snow-dominated catchments.
