The Department of Botany, University of Kashmir has invited applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Junior Project Fellow (JPF). The vacancy is under the JKST&IC-sponsored project titled “Impact of alien plantation forestry on ecosystem services in Srinagar city of Kashmir Himalayas”.
As per Advertisement No. 1082/25 dated 09 July 2025, the position is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹20,000, subject to release of funds by JKST&IC. Preference will be given to candidates with NET/SET/GATE qualifications and prior research experience.
